AGENDA: SATURDAY MAY, 5th

ACTION ITEMS:
· Cold weather transplant crops are ready (see details below)
· Bed preparation and planting
· Marking plots and personalizing signs
· Garden ID badges

NEEDED SUPPLIES:
· 1x8 and 4x4 lumber for raised beds
· rail road ties
· mason jars with lids
· galvanized pipe for trellises
· shovels, rakes, hoes, hoses, etc
· food and snacks for meetings, please coordinate with Nadine 313-279-0351

CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS:
Members may participate in Garden Resource Program Collaborative classes and workshops. Complete details can be found at www.DetroitAgriculture.org/ or call Ashley at the Greening of Detroit, 313-237-8736.
· May 12, 1pm-3pm, Solar Passive Greenhouse Workshop ($3 for members).

COLD WEATHER TRANSPLANTS: Collard (Champion), Cabbage (Primax or Red Express), Broccoli (Arcadia), Kale (Winterbor or Toscano), and Lettuce (several varieties)
